<p><strong>2011 &#8211; 2012</strong></p>
<p>Eight artists commissions in a unique seventeenth century garden. The commissions will be inspired by the place, its survival and history. A supporting programme of live art and interaction will include curatorial tours, performance and four additional arts and heritage commissions with Ham Youth Centre, Ham Multi-cultural Women&#8217;s Group, Ham United Group and the International Youth Arts Festival to research little known histories to create  information new visitors. Garden of Reason has been awarded grants from Arts Council England and Heritage Lottery Fund.</p>

<p>The project  will form part of the cultural offer of the Harbourside. Conceptually relevant to the hidden histories of Bristol&#8217;s Maritime past, and a permanent reminder of Bristol&#8217;s Maritime trading history. Seeds of Change opened in June 2012, as a floating Ballast Seed Garden celebrating the Cultural Olympics.</p>
